God Feeds the Birds — and He Knows Your Name
Reading: Matthew 6:26 — where Jesus points to birds as evidence that God actively provides for His creation, and then reminds his listeners that human beings are of far greater value
Devotional: Birds do not plant crops or store harvests in barns, yet they are fed. This is not an argument for laziness — birds still work, still search, still move with purpose. The point Jesus is making is about the source of provision, not the absence of effort. God is the provider. He sustains creation with intention and care. If He tends to creatures that cannot pray, cannot worship, and were not made in His image, how much more does He attend to you? You are not forgotten in your financial struggle. You are known, valued, and held by a Father who provides.
