Assurance of Faith
1 John 5:11-13, 2 Corinthians 13:5
Assurance of salvation is a precious gift, yet many believers struggle with doubt. Today's readings remind us that our assurance is not based on our feelings or performance, but on God's promise and Christ's work. Examine your heart today. Are you looking inward for assurance or outward to Christ? If you're struggling with doubt, memorize 1 John 5:13. Let God's Word be the anchor for your assurance. If you have assurance, thank God for this gift and consider how you can encourage others who may be struggling.
